I started this space with a simple but urgent goal: to speak freely and honestly about Iran, beyond the headlines, beyond the usual narratives. Inspired by James Baldwin’s The Fire Next Time, this blog exists for difficult conversations, for challenging power, and for amplifying the struggles of those too often silenced.
For the past three years, I have kept this work going entirely on my own, without corporate backing or institutional funding—covering the costs of research, writing, and translation from my personal finances. But to grow this project, to reach more people, and to deepen its impact, I need more support.
